LOS ANGELES, CA - Playback is entering a new chapter.
Following the end of the company's former Santa Barbara operation, music-industry executive, engineer and entrepreneur Dean Earls has joined Tucker Bodine and Daniel "OT" Marquez to rebuild the Playback concept in Los Angeles.
The new company will operate as Playback LA, with Earls providing the financial backing and helping lead the design and development of the new Los Angeles facility.
Bodine brings equipment and technical experience from the former Playback operation, while Marquez, who began his relationship with Bodine as an intern before becoming an engineer, will assist with engineering, construction and operations.
Playback LA is being designed as more than another hourly recording facility.
The vision is a creative home where recording, songwriting, production, management, publishing and artist development can coexist under one roof.
Construction is underway.
Los Angeles is next.
