Playback LA's creative-community philosophy received an outside endorsement when engineer and producer Sian McMullen spoke with Shoutout LA about the studio communities that helped her develop professionally.
McMullen specifically named Playback.LA among the Los Angeles studio communities that had supported her work.
It was a small mention, but an important one.
From the beginning, Playback LA was intended to function as more than a collection of rooms and equipment.
The objective was to establish a creative community where engineers, producers, writers and artists could learn from one another and build relationships.
